I was born and raised in central Ohio and have been providing clinical services since 2016. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from West Virginia University and graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Dayton. I completed my doctoral internship with Astor Services for Children & Families in Rhinebeck, NY, and became a licensed psychologist in September of 2022. I enjoy working primarily as a youth and family clinician but have also worked with adults, and served as a clinical supervisor. I work with a range of presenting issues including disruptive/oppositional behavior, depression, anxiety, family conflict, and ADHD/executive functioning skills building.
My individual counseling interventions are typically influenced by Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I believe that it is important to incorporate parents/guardians into their child’s treatment, and I typically use interventions that are informed by Collaborative Problem Solving, Behavioral Therapy, and communication skills building when working with families. Over the past couple of years, I have developed an interest in a clinical approach that seeks to incorporate therapeutic goal consensus, transparency, and feedback-informed treatment.
